ARE YOU A CITY HEART?
We have created City Hearts based on our own travel experiences, our love for Copenhagen, and insight into the needs from hotels and tourists.
We are Marie and Pernille. Two enthusiasts who are passionate about giving both Danish and foreign visitors a special experience while in our beautiful capital. Therefore, we gather unique and local places for those who are hungry for a different experience - of and in the city.
It has to be easy to find the really good places
We make sure that our maps are distributed to hotels and other relevant places where tourists can find them. Of course, they are also avaible at all our "hearts". We are also in charge of refilling, and every day we work to create new and strong collaborations.
Since 2016, we have developed our local urban maps, which now cover Vesterbro, City Center, Nørrebro, Amagerbro and Frederiksberg.
What you get:
- A brief description in English and a photo of your place (a spot on the map along with 37 other unique local places).
- Exposure on the City Hearts app (can be downloadet for both for iPhone and Android), which we exclusively collaborate with selected hotels on.
- The map is valid for one year at a time, so you get exposed for a whole year.
- Our presence at different events (Copenhagen Street Festival, 48 hour festival, Pride, Copenhagen Sakura festival, May 1, Distortion and more).
- Exposed to many different segments in hotels around Copenhagen.
- Exposed at selected hotels in Malmö and four tourist points.
- Promotion at cityhearts.dk
- Possibility to make special offers on the app.
- Opportunity to promote your events in the app.

The layout of the physical card
In order to maintain a high standard in relation to the content of the maps, we have carefully handpicked the places you find on our maps.
This way we ensure that it’s places that we can vouch for and who always deliver good service and have something unique about them - whether it's great food, special designs or anything else.
Your spot
On the map, the selected places are represented by a photo and a short English text that gives an impression of the ambiance from the place.
We write the text and take the picture, unless you want to use something from your own archive.
We also add your phone number, website and social media - if you want it.
Preferred icons
By your pictures we also place up till five icons. These are icons that will make it easier for people with specific preferences to quickly spot whether the place is relevant to them.
City Hearts app
In April 2018 we had the great pleasure of launching our new app, which makes our cooperation with the hotels even stronger and the exposure for you even better. Here you get your own profile and also have the opportunity to make special offers, and promote any events - big and small.
Hotels on the app
The app is developed in partnerships with different hotels in Copenhagen, which have the opportunity to get a profile on the app, as well as some extra features for their guests. The hotels promote the app at various touchpoints in the hotel.
But also other tourists, the Copenhageners, Danes and you have the opportunity to find yourself in beautiful Copenhagen.
Your profile on the app
Your profile will contain 3 pictures, the text from the map, link to your facebook, instagram and website, as well as the preferred icons that are relevant to you.

Vesterbro
I am a small cafe shop on Vesterbro and the first time I met City Hearts, it was almost love at first sight. Two sweet and skilled girls with an idea of developing small maps of Copenhagens neighborhoods. I am crazy with the idea because I often experience tourists standing with huge maps that confuse them more than guide them. At the same time, 30 locations from each neighborhoods are represented on the maps for inspiration or for a trip. I'm excited about the maps, and my customers from Denmark and abroad as well. I can even guide the customers around the maps and recommend them the best little and exciting places.

Exposure and distribution
The cards are printet in 50,000 copies per. Area (City center, Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Amagerbro and Frederiksberg).
They are distributed over a year at:
Over a 100 hotels and hostels in Copenhagen
- Among other Tivoli hotel, Radisson, The Generator and Wake up hotels
15 tourist spots and business partners
- Among other things, the National Museum of Art, Copenhagen info at the main trainway station and guided tours Nova Fairy Tales
The interest in the maps is huge and by the end of the period all the maps will be handed out.
Delivery periods
High season: April-September + December
= Two deliveries per. months.
Low Season: January-March + October-November
= One delivery per. months.
